Like so many key moments in my life, my open ended project with guitarist and producer Mike Rathke (who worked with Lou Reed in both capacities for over 20 years), began almost by accident, one long weekend. This at Mike's bachelor apartment in the west village, when he asked if I felt like helping him figure out some new recording software he'd just bought. It snowballed, largely below the radar for both of us, from there.

I shall add lyrics, credits, and perhaps a few stories to what's here in coming weeks. But for now, here are the songs with all my thanks to Mike, Rob Wasserman, Friederich Paravicini, Tommy James, Fernando Saunders, Jeff Hill, Evan Harlan, Tony "Thunder" Smith, Jane Scarpantoni, and everyone else who generously pitched in in stolen moments to find the song. I shall return this summer with a few new things, as they say, in sha'allah.
